CEO Yamashiro's paper was selected as Editor's suggestion in Physical Review A
The paper "Dynamics of reverse annealing" submitted by CEO Yamashiro has been published in Physical review A, a journal of the American Physical Society, and has been selected as "Editor's suggestion".
This paper shows that reverse quantum annealing can outperform conventional transverse field quantum annealing. Also, numerical calculations of the quantum dynamics show the consistency of the quantum dynamics and statistical mechanics results, which had not been explicitly shown before.
We will continue to develop new methods to exploit the performance of quantum annealing machines from a theoretical perspective.
